Privacy policy
This explains what Inkinex does with personal data. It is short because this website collects very little.
What this website collects
Nothing. No contact form, no newsletter signup, no analytics package, no advertising pixel, no cookie of any kind, and no local storage. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Fonts
Typefaces are self-hosted and served from this domain. Your browser makes no request to a third-party font service when you load a page here.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any host, Vercel processes technical request data such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL in order to serve pages and protect the service from abuse. We do not have access to visitor-level records and do not combine them with anything else.
If you email us
When you write to shaban@inkinex.com we receive your address, your name if you give it, and whatever you put in the message. Our email runs on Google Workspace. We use it to reply and to run any engagement that follows.
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Correspondence tied to a live or completed engagement is kept for six years, which is the period we need it for tax, contractual, and professional records.
We do not add correspondents to a mailing list, do not sell or rent contact details, and do not share them except where the law requires it or where a service provider processes them for us under contract.
Audit data
A crawl audit collects data about your website, not about people. Where a page incidentally contains personal data, such as an author name, that data stays inside the report and is deleted with the report at the end of the retention period. We do not use client crawl data to train anything.
Legal basis
Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests for enquiry correspondence, performance of a contract once an engagement is agreed, and legal obligation for records we must retain.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have data erased where we have no continuing need or legal duty to keep it
- object to or ask us to restrict our processing
- complain to your data protection regulator

Children
This is a business to business consultancy. The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under sixteen.
Changes
Material changes will be described in a short note here rather than made quietly.
